TimberTECH’s internet based software provides you with all of your customers information, daily or weekly jobs, invoicing and ordering. This means you can plan ahead and schedule your work in advance so you can enjoy some time off or take a holiday. Invoicing and ordering online is as simple as pushing a few buttons. Your customers will pay you directly. We’ve found franchisees prefer this, as it allows you to manage your own income and you know exactly what you’re earning at any time.

Our online training manual has the most comprehensive introduction to running your TimberTECH business and one of the best we’ve come across.
No previous trade experience is necessary as our training programme covers everything you need to know. You should have a practical bent, be reasonably fit, enjoy working outdoors, and have a head for heights (as a lot of our work is ladder-based). You don’t need a lot of gear and the business is easily run from a suitable home office, or small commercial space.

Growing Your Business

TimberTECH is responsible for providing your initial work guarantee and assisting you in continually developing your business. We are also your main source of support in the field, providing technical advice, business mentoring and marketing advice. We will work closely with you on your business from the beginning to ensure your ongoing success. We’re here if there’s a problem you don’t know how to fix. We’ll also give you advice on how to grow your business from quoting through to taking on new staff. With a TimberTECH franchise it’s your business. There’s no limit to the size of your business whether you chose to run it as a single operator or a multi staffed company. Selling Your Business

Your agreement with TimberTECH is unique in that it runs for 31 years. This is an unusually long time, because experience tells us that the normal period of 10 years is much too short.

Selling a business is all about selling the potential to another person to be able to earn the same amount of money (or more) as you are earning now and in the future. The 31 year contract period gives you the right to trade under the TimberTECH franchise much longer than other franchises. This means if you decide to sell the business after 6 years, you’ll still have 25 years left on your agreement not five like other systems. This can make a big difference in the value of your business to a potential buyer.

When you decide to sell your business is entirely your decision. You don’t have to sell it to TimberTECH although we have the first right of refusal.
